A few days in Athens with lots of contradictions, the city shows some decay and many closed buildings filled with lots of graffitis every where as a big crises still bitting hard the people of Greece. I found strange that there are lots of phone cabins every where and again all in decay and full of graffitis, surprisingly in working conditions in the era of mobile phones.

The city is very low and without big or interesting modern landmarks, of course the Acropolis is always there with the Goddess watching at you.
Evenings are quite dark as the city lights are not very generous, I guess it’s due to some budgetary adjustments. Not a pretty city but with really nice people that seems a little tired of too much past full of old ruins, walking around there are also some greens with little drops of oranges making a comfortable mediterranean sense of life shown into a pleasant human scale, I did really enjoy the short time there.
